Perhaps it didn't come clear enough, but the pair of them are certainly happy enough with their relationship now. Presumably a lot of sex is about to happen behind the scenes. ;) Quite honestly my confidence when it comes to writing relationships is very, very low, which is why I didn't deal with it too directly, though I would've liked to.
(And Re: your previous comment, yes, I do think it's a rather weak ending. But at some stage I realised that a) I couldn't finish the story properly using only Niou & Yagyuu's POV and a really substantial change in the way I was writing it would have felt weird by that stage and b) I was going to entirely lose the thread with this story if I didn't just get it done and that a weak ending was probably less frustrating than, well... leaving it indefinitely on the cliffhanger that was the end of chapter 8. ...so really, the solution was to just wrap up and then do a second fic. ^^)
