And sometimes when you fall you fly
Feb. 6th, 2008 04:58 pmIt's a beautiful day. I mean, really. Disconcertingly, given that it's early February. It feels like April, and the temperature is about my absolute ideal, and it's sunny. Or, well, was. Getting dark now (it was still light after 4pm! O_O). I wanted to spend longer walking around outside but tiredness forced me back to the flat. If the weather stays good I'll probably spend a lot more time out of the flat, finding places to sit and write. I'm hoping that getting out and about might make writing actually happen; I'm so frustrated with my writing at the moment that I could cry. I keep trying because the feeling when something clicks and starts to take on life is so wonderful. ...and, in less pretentious terms, because of deadlines. :D;;;
I have a stack of applications for boring jobs to fight my way through in order to make sure the jobcentre doesn't bitch at me and hopefully get some work for now, and then it'll be back to making hopeful sparkly eyes at libraries for jobs starting in the summer. One set of deadlines just passed and there's a while until the next lot. They seem to move in packs.
rikkai_exchange -- rules are up. Signup post will follow soon. Fic and art, god help me. *nervous laugh*
