Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. Wobble.
May. 17th, 2008 08:32 pmToday we had dim sum for lunch and food leapt away from me. Repeatedly. Including one particularly special incident involving a lump of chinese dessert thing which proved to be, err, more slippery than I anticipated, and took advantage of my carelessness to make a mad suicide leap...... >_> IT BOUNCED. IT BOUNCED MANY TIMES. OFF THE PLATE. OFF MY LAP. ACROSS THE FLOOR. Where it sat and wobbled sadly.
We were in hysterics for a terrifying amount of time.
Bounce.
Bounce.
Bounce.
Splot.
:(
Every now and again I think about it and how sadly it wobbled and then I start giggling all over again.
I note that it is the one year anniversary of the Collapsing Chairs incident. Something about the 17th of May, evidently. A date of considerable occult significance, or something.
(More seriously, I have been so uncoordinated today that it almost reduced me to tears on less amusing occasions. My hands just do not go quite where I want or do quite what I tell them. But the pudding incident was unspeakably hilarious.)
