Take a deep breath--

350 ml water
100 ml milk
10 green cardamon pods
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
5 cm stick of cinnamon
4 black peppercorns
8g ginger, peeled + roughly chopped
1 black teabag
Heat everything except the tea together in a pan, bringing up to the boil and then simmering for 10 - 15 minutes, making sure the milk doesn't boil over, until it's reduced down a little. Add the tea and infuse for a minute or so and add sugar to taste.
This is such a comfort drink. And yeah, I just make it with the decaf earl grey I have around because that's the only decaf black tea I have and I'm still not drinking caffeine, but whatever black tea you have works. *curls up with cup of tea* ♥
