I don't know.

Val: I'm playing with absent-minded yagyuu. It is most likely completely wrong. BUT IT MAKES ME LAUGH.
[...]
Liz: hey, for all we know he could be XDD
Val: Yes. This version is slightly older. Middle aged even.
Val: he might have grown a bit... yeah... over the years
Liz: Niou: *makes jokes about memory being the first thing to go which Yagyuu finds extremely unfunny*
Val: Yagyuu can still focus when it comes to important stuff.
Val: oh and he might own a book shop
Val: or something
[...]
Liz: if he owns a bookshop and is kind of absentminded he's at risk of turning into aziraphale.
Val: XD
Val: well.. he is very gay
Val: not sure about the angelic part...
Liz: hahahaha
Liz: well you know. aziraphale is a bit of a crap angel really.
Val: this is true
Val: Yagyuu would be too
Val: the question is...
Val: would Niou would be one too? or would he be more crowley like?
Val: that would be odd
Liz: I like the idea of Niou encouraging his plants to grow through death threats, though
Liz: or maybe that should be Yukimura...
Liz: okay, I'm not even THAT keen on crack fic but now I want some where Yukimura makes his plants grow by threatening them D:
Val: =DDDDD
Liz: EVERYONE WONDERS WHAT THE SECRET OF HIS SUCCESS IS.
Val: MWAHAHAHAHA
Val: that makes too much sense
Val: this is why it's good that yukimura isn't having any babies. Ever.
Liz: bugger. now I am going to have to write a drabble or something on this topic.
Val: >)
Val: you should get on that

So I wrote.

Survival of the Fittest. Yukimura keeps himself entertained and his plants terrified. Or maybe Sanada is just going mad. G. A couple of hundred words.

Question: For someone who has never been there, how many days would you say a tourist needs in Nikko?

In honesty, if you're prepared to put the walking in all at once you can easily do all the stuff in Nikko itself in one day. If you also want to explore up into the mountains (there are buses up to hotspring towns, lakes, waterfalls, which are very pretty; not sure about details because we got driven around by car but they exist) then give an extra day for that as well. So, one or two really.
