I just don't know what to think anymore

Syl ([livejournal.com profile] dystopiarcadia) is complaining that there's a cricket test match on and that she's missed the first two days.

Not that it's, I don't know, disrupting her favourite shows or something.

She's been watching it.

This is the person who, on first arriving from France, basically thought this entire country was mad and wanted nothing to do with its bizarre customs, foods or sports.

WHAT IS GOING ON?? This country does things to people...

There is a subtle insidious attraction to old fashioned Englishness! It's one of the reasons I like going to flower shows and such, you see the middle-English out in force all being polite and civilised (and then they all cart plants back to Waterloo in their plastic boxes on wheels, it's like the interflora express).

*laughs* I'd actually be slightly less surprised if I'd heard she'd gone to a flower show. At least she could compulsively photograph things there. I'm not sure I'm comprehending the cricket thing at all...

Just like Johannes and the snooker. o.O (I think it's cos it's nice and scientific...)

Hahaha. Oh god. But I can imagine Johannes liking snooker. It is Proper and Correct and Does Not Break Rules.

Beware England? XD

*laugh* You're so dramatic, Liz. ♥
