I find writing comes and goes for me, but I agree that there's always something special about the first stories you write and share. :D I know my earlier (maybe ALL) my PoT fics are whacked, but I still like them because they were fun to write. XD
:0 It's hard to establish characters when you first get into a series, and it's harder still to write them the way you see them if a whole fandom seems to have some hangup about their personalities being a certain way.
