...right. Because here in the UK we like the USA so much we want to become it. I forgot for a moment there.
I saw the ad on TV the other day, actually, and though the ad overall gets a pretty big *shrug* I thought it was sort of neat that the implication of homosexuality was acceptable here on daytime advertising, in however jokey a sense. Except. Apparently, not so much.
(Also, the difficult problem of parents having to discuss the issue of same-sex relationships with younger viewers? Really? So this isn't actually about your own discomfort, it's all about the children. Of course.)
